China lies to the West

About

Judith Koffler, who has been in law teaching, practice and mediation for many years, went to China on a Fulbright in 1998 and taught law at Wuhan University, where she stayed on as a university lecturer.  She returned to the States in January, 2001 to travel, do research, and goof off.  In 2004, she traveled to Afghanistan with Global Exchange, and, later that year, went to Tajikistan for several months with the American Bar Association’s Central European and Eurasian Law Initiative.  Upon her return she worked with Greater Boston Legal Services on rights of women immigrants.  Now in California, she has mediated with the EEOC, taught as an adjunct at University of Southern California and, this past year, as visiting professor of law at Chapman University School of Law.  She is currently helping lawyers become law professors (see www.judithkoffler.com).
